Editorial standards and corrections

This page explains where the content on Dalsna Finance comes from, how our own data is made, and how to tell us about a mistake.

News

News on the site is gathered from other publishers. We show the headline and the text the publisher includes in its public feed, and link to the original story whenever the feed gives an address on the publisher's own site. We don't rewrite other outlets' reporting as our own, and the publisher is named on every item.

The analyst price-target tracker

Targets are taken from news reports of what research firms published, each with a link to its source. A target is judged once, on the date it was set for, against the closing price on that date (or the last close before it, when the market was shut), using rules fixed in advance and published on the methodology page. Results are never revised to look better afterwards. If we find we misreported a target, it stays on the record, marked retracted, with the date and the reason. No firm is ranked until it has at least 10 settled targets.

Member calls

Calls on member scorecards are made by registered members under their own accounts. They are not recommendations from Dalsna Finance.

Automation

Much of this site is put together by software: news is collected automatically, and many pages are generated from data. Our X account may post automatically.

Corrections

If you think something on the site is wrong, email dalsnafinance@gmail.com with the page address and what you believe is wrong, and a source if you have one. When we confirm an error, we fix the page. Corrections to the analyst data are shown as retractions, as described above.

Not investment advice

Nothing on Dalsna Finance is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Figures and forecasts are reported as published by their sources.
