대만 신주, Nov. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 주문형 반도체(ASIC) 설계 서비스 및 반도체 설계자산(IP) 분야의 선도 기업인 패러데이 테크놀로지(Faraday Technology Corporation, 대만증권거래소: 3035)는 UMC 공정에서 EtherCAT을 지원하는 성능이 향상된 10/100 이더넷 PHY IP 솔루션을 발표했다. 이번 솔루션은 인공지능(AI) 기반 제조, 산업 자동화 및 휴머노이드 로봇 분야에서 실시간 통신과 동기화된 모션 제어에 대한 수요가 증가하는 데 대응하기 위해 개발됐다. 사전 검증을 완료한 이 IP는 100마이크로초(μs) 미만의 EtherCAT 전송 시간과 EtherCAT 분산 클록(Distributed Clocks, DC)을 활용한 0.1마이크로초 미만의 동기화 정확도를 지원한다. 또한 엄격한 ETG.7000 적합성 시험과 IEC 61000-4 시험을 통과해 고객사의 ASIC 개발 과정을 간소화할 수 있도록 설계됐다.
