Precision Resource Breaks Ground on Two New Production Additive Manufacturing Facilities and Expands Value-Added Services in Partnership with 3D Systems

ROCK HILL, S.C. and SHELTON, Conn., Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) and Precision Resource, a leader in the production of critical components for the automotive, heavy-duty, aerospace, and medical device industries, today announced the groundbreaking of two new additive manufacturing locations, one in Huntington Beach, California, and one in Shelton, Connecticut. Precision Resource will further add in-house heat treatment and expand its complex machining capabilities, giving commercial and defense customers a more integrated path from 3D printed part to finished component. The facilities will utilize advanced metal additive manufacturing systems from 3D Systems and are expected to be operational in Q1 2027, a milestone that coincides with Precision Resource's 80th year in business.
